Permira established an office in Menlo Park in 2008 to bolster its North American presence and support its global TMT team. The Menlo Park team focuses primarily on the technology sector and is responsible for identifying investment opportunities in this sector for the Permira funds in North America and globally. In addition it works closely with the New York team to identify opportunities in other sectors on the West Coast of the United States. It also supports the Permira funds' existing portfolio companies present in the US.
